Martine Mientjes is the Facility Compliance Director within Global Sustainability at Nike, with expertise in the development and management of Labor, Health & Safety, and Environment compliance programs. She collaborates closely with LHSE, deployment, and business teams, leveraging partnerships with external stakeholders such as Cascale and Worldly to advance compliance objectives. Martine is responsible for comprehensive compliance reporting, supporting both internal business requirements and public disclosures. Her prior experience includes managing Higg FEM and ZDHC programs on the Environment Team and leading Product Integrity teams.
Cecilia Chan is the Chief Commercial Officer of Legend Swimwear Factory. Legend is a full-suite swimwear provider for world famous brands and retailers.
Legend started as a swimwear factory in 1995. Founded in Hong Kong, originally focusing on the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) business, Legend has since grown to become the trusted swimwear delivery partner for world famous fashion brands and retailers. With production plants in China, Vietnam, and Cambodia, Legend delivers not just cut & sewn for 15 million units of swimwear each year, but also a full-suite of swimwear solutions. Legend has deep expertise in swimwear execution, fashion forward design capability, water and air treatment for fabric printing, virtual 3D sampling, and sustainable manufacturing advisory.
Cecilia has a background in management consulting and a specialisation in organisational change management. Her career spans across the fashion & apparel, aviation, insurance, hospitality & entertainment, telecommunications, and government industries. She is passionate about sustainable and purpose-driven fashion. She helps organisations lower the negative environmental impact of apparel manufacturing whilst staying commercially relevant in the market.
Saqib Shahzad is Head of Sustainability at Sapphire-Diamond Fabrics Limited, a vertically integrated textile company with operations in spinning, weaving, processing, and apparel manufacturing. With over 20 years of experience in the textile industry, he has led multiple initiatives on sustainability, social compliance, traceability, and regenerative agriculture, including the company's RegenAgri Cotton Project and farm-to-garment traceability programs. Sapphire-Diamond Fabrics Limited are also the founders of the Transformer Foundation, which focuses on building collaborative platforms to accelerate sustainability transformation in the apparel industry
With over 20 years of experience in Asia's woven fabric supply chain, Jennie focuses on improving product research and development, maintaining raw material partnerships, and implementing circular planning to meet the changing demands of the global fashion industry. She truly loves working within textiles and is happy circular fibers are being produced at scale for fashion brands to adopt.
Christina Fan is the Vice President of Business Development at Pac-Fung Feather Company Limited. Since joining the family business, she has spearheaded efforts to modernize operations through strategic planning and innovation. Guided by Pac-Fung’s ethos of “constant pursuit of excellence,” Christina oversees initiatives across sourcing, product development, and brand building. Her leadership reflects a deep commitment to sustainability, ensuring that consumer needs are thoughtfully integrated into responsible and forward-looking manufacturing practices.
Sarah Baker is Principal Advisor, Corporate Social Responsibility for La Vie en Rose where she leads strategy and implementation of their CSR mandate. With a background in data and analytics, Sarah supports cross-functional initiatives that drive positive impact across global operations by aligning business practices with responsible and measurable outcomes.
Dr. Thiwanka De Fonseka is the Chief Sustainability Officer at Komar. He oversees and leads environmental sustainability and product sustainability pillars at Komar, focusing on decarbonization, water quality, chemical management, waste management, sustainable raw materials, sustainable packaging, product circularity, etc., internally and in its supply chain. Dr. Thiwanka de Fonseka's career combines expertise in environmental science and chemistry with a commitment to sustainability, circularity, and innovation.
Before joining Komar, Dr. Thiwanka de Fonseka held executive roles in ZDHC, M&S, and MAS Holdings. He has contributed to significant advancements in sustainability practices, emphasizing practical solutions for complex environmental challenges. Known for his ability to work under pressure, tackle difficult challenges, and think outside the box, Dr. Thiwanka de Fonseka continues to drive Komar's commitment to ethical and sustainable business models.
Bethan has spent seven years in the packaging and sustainability space in retail, with developing sustainability strategy for both UK and global brands. Prince2 Project Management qualified and educated at Cambridge Institute of Sustainable Leadership (CISL), Bethan specializes in ESG strategy at Checkpoint driving environmental impact reduction, legislation, and compliance, as well as advisory for customers. She has most recently has taken up the position of Co-Chair of the Sustainability Community at RAIN Alliance.
Rick Ridgeway is an outdoor adventurer, writer and advocate for sustainability and conservation initiatives. For 15 years, Rick was the VP of Environmental Affairs and then VP of Public Engagement at Patagonia, Inc. During his tenure he has worked with teams to develop and launch environmental and sustainability initiatives including Freedom to Roam, the Footprint Chronicles, the Responsible Economy Campaign and Worn Wear. He is co-founder of Cascale (formerly the Sustainable Apparel Coalition), today the largest apparel, footwear and home textile trade organization in the world that is also developer of the Higg Index suite of tools for sustainability measurement and management.
David Forsgate is the Chief Representative Officer at ERALDA Indonesia, where he leads a talented Jakarta-based team sourcing high-quality, long-lasting clothing for global brands. He believes business works best when it acts as a force for good, ERALDA has been a certified B Corporation since 2023.
Steve has over 30 years of experience in senior roles in technology and operations, working in sectors ranging from sustainability and food production to finance and Formula 1 racing. Steve has supported SLCP since 2017, initially as an external advisor, then as an independent expert Council member, before joining the Secretariat. As Chief Operating Officer Steve is responsible for ensuring the organization works efficiently and effectively to execute its strategies and meet stakeholder expectations.
Jon leads the Sustainability department at Li & Fung. His primary role consists of driving suppliers and customers’ environmental performance and compliance on different key areas such as decarbonization, water savings, chemical safety, product LCA, ESG related regulations, etc. His team is composed of several environmental experts, completed by a team of generalists (social + environmental) located in production countries (shared with the social compliance department). Jon is part of the Li & Fung ESG committee, where he coordinates the annual reporting for the company and its subsidiaries, and manages different stakeholders’ requirements (CDP, Ecovadis, etc.). Prior to working with Li & Fung, Jon was working for the retailer Etam where he initiated the sustainability journey, and worked in sustainability across different industries before that: green buildings and energy efficiency, hospitality, airlines. Jon holds a Bachelor’s degree in environmental geography and a Master’s degree in sustainability and environment.
Jeannie oversees all aspects of VF’s global sustainability strategy. Under her leadership, VF has integrated circular design, sustainable materials and innovation across its portfolio of brands, reducing energy, waste, carbon emissions and water usage, encouraging regenerative farming practices, circularity initiatives, embedding renewable energy and sustainability priorities across its operations and supply chain, and linking financial transactions with sustainability KPIs (green bonds, tax equity for renewable energy).
Jeannie has an MA in International Finance and Development from the University of Denver, a BA in Spanish from the University of Washington, and holds several sustainability credentials and certifications.
Scott Raskin is the CEO of Worldly, where he champions the idea that impactful change springs from actionable measures. Leveraging years of leadership experience in tech companies, he steers Worldly toward sustainable growth, providing brands, manufacturers, retailers, and suppliers with solutions to enhance their positive environmental and social impact.

Experienced professional in sustainability strategy development and management, specialising in the fashion, footwear, and home furnishings sectors on a global scale. With a strong background in product development, lower environmental impact supply chain development, circularity, and data reporting. My expertise lies in crafting and executing impactful sustainability strategies that drive real action and change in the industry.
Kevin Vranes is the Chief Product Officer for Worldly. He is a highly accomplished software executive, most recently involved in launching and leading the build-out of Salesforce's Net Zero Cloud product. With a Ph.D. in Geophysics (Ocean and Climate Physics), he brings 20 years of experience in Earth, environmental science, and energy management. Kevin has also spent 20 years in technical software, from development to product management. He has held executive roles in cleantech startups and leadership positions in software product management, contributing to the high-tech, cleantech, and energy/environmental sectors.
With over 30 years of executive leadership, Angela specializes in empowering businesses to adopt sustainable practices and develop future leaders. She believes true success lies in the value we create for both organizations and the planet. As a dynamic leader, Angela cultivates strong relationships across the supply chain, engaging strategically with suppliers and partners to drive sustainability. By building alliances, she fosters innovative solutions that promote a greener future, benefiting all stakeholders involved.
As the Chief Growth Officer at Worldly, Adele Stafford drives revenue and market expansion by aligning product innovation, strategy, and customer acquisition efforts. She oversees data-driven growth initiatives to scale the business while adapting to evolving consumer trends and technological advancements.
Adele brings twenty years of experience working at the nexus of design, technology and strategy to Worldly. Prior to joining Worldly, Adele’s work focused on overseeing account growth and business strategy as the VP of Accounts for Blue State and Director of Client Services at Frog Design, She also spent time working in a marketing strategy role for organizations like the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Adele is a practicing studio artist and hand weaver whose work is deeply rooted in sustainable fiber agriculture. Over the past ten years, this work has culminated in a project called Voices of Industry, a survey of the cultural and agricultural context that informs our domestic textile supply chain.
Adele is a graduate of Rhode Island School of Design with a Bachelor of Fine Art and Simmons College with a Master of Business Administration.
J.R. Siegel is Vice President, Sustainability at Worldly. He is a sustainability strategist, writer, and business leader whose work focuses on helping companies understand, measure, and take action on their biggest climate risks and opportunities. J.R. is a proud graduate of Yale University and The Fletcher School at Tufts University. He lives in Seattle with his wife, three children, and a very odd dog. He writes Bright Spots, a sustainability newsletter, in his free time.
Daniel Etra is Vice President of Product Management at Worldly, where he is responsible for overall platform, facility experiences, Higg Index tools, and API integrations. Previously he served as VP of Product Development at Renew Financial, and managed programs at Ecotrust. He holds a BA in Sociology from Reed College and an MBA in Sustainable Business from Pinchot University.
Vic is an ESG Specialist with over 15 years of experience in the Corporate Responsibility industry. He has a wealth of knowledge working with brands and retailers across a variety of consumer goods. He is particularly perceptive in managing social and labor programs in the value chain. He is a believer of industry collaboration and empowerment in driving positive impact to the industry.
Vic has recently led successful Higg adoption programs for several major brands and retailers in the APAC region, including Nike, GAP and more. These programs brought insights to help these businesses reduce their environmental impact, improve their social responsibility, and increase transparency across their supply chains.
James Schaffer is Chief Strategy Officer at Worldly. He oversees business development, client services, partnerships, and corporate development. James’s career synthesizes business leadership and growth through innovation and partnerships, and a profound commitment to social impact and environmental sustainability.
Before joining Worldly, James co-founded Schaffer & Combs, a consultancy that served purpose-driven organizations. James has led engagements with leading sustainability organizations, including Cascale, Aii, ZDHC, BlueSign, WRI, B Lab, Rainforest Alliance, and Outdoor Industry Association, and dozens of social sector organizations.
John Armstrong is the CTO at Worldly, where he builds the enterprise platform that enables consumer goods businesses — at every stage in their sustainability journey — to accurately measure a company or product’s sustainability performance.
John has worked with some of the world’s leading companies, building meaningful products, services, and experiences to meet their unique needs. He relies on a common-sense approach to software design and construction. Through his leadership, Worldly is using agile technology to help create global change.
Jay Gaines is the Chief Marketing and Content Officer at Worldly, where he leads global marketing strategy and the deployment of data insights that help customers strategically embed sustainability data into their day-to-day operations.
Leveraging his two decades of experience in B2B leadership, Jay is passionate about empowering businesses to achieve exceptional growth while making a positive impact for their customers and the world. His expertise lies in crafting focused and effective go-to-market strategies, building and leading high-performing teams, and transforming data into actionable insights.
Paula Bernstein is the Associate Director of Sustainability Science at Worldly, where for the past six years she has worked on impact calculations and life cycle assessment (LCA) across the Worldly platform. She works closely with teams at Worldly and Cascale to develop and implement calculation methodology, build new life cycle assessment (LCA) models, and ensure data and methodologies follow the latest best practices and standards. Prior to joining Worldly, Paula worked as a consultant specializing in LCA across diverse industries. She is based in Brooklyn, New York, and spends her free time volunteering with a local dog rescue organization.
Joël Mertens is the Director of Higg Product Tools at Cascale. He is responsible for managing the Higg Product Tools, including the Higg Product Module, Higg Material Sustainability Index (MSI), and MSI Contributor. He is based in British Columbia, Canada.
Before joining Cascale team, Joël was the Manager of Product Engineering and Compliance at Mountain Equipment Co-op where he worked on embedding product sustainability and product safety compliance into the development process. Among these responsibilities, he developed Preferred Fiber Strategy and Supplier Environmental Assurance programs for the MEC label. Joël holds a Master’s degree in Materials Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of British Columbia.
Jaclene Roshan is Vice President of Products at Worldly, leading solution development for the Worldly Platform, Collaboration Suite, Insights & Analytics, and Social Compliance. She joined Worldly in early 2025 from Salesforce, where she spent seven years leading high-performing product teams to deliver solutions enabling global nonprofits and institutional funders to scale operations while maximizing social and environmental impact. With a BA in Cultural Anthropology, Jaclene is passionate about creating solutions with and for end users—and is thrilled to now bring that perspective to the sustainability space.
Joleen Ong is the Senior Director of Brand and Retailer Membership at Cascale, where she leads all aspects of member engagement to drive industry-wide sustainability impact through the use of Higg Index tools. Originally from New York, she’s currently based in Portland, Oregon.
With over 15 years of experience in sustainability and human rights within the apparel and footwear industries, Joleen has deep expertise in operationalizing Higg Index tools across brands. Before joining Cascale, she served as the Sustainability Director at Fanatics, where she led the integration of sustainability practices and responsible purchasing initiatives across the enterprise. Prior to Fanatics, she led the Sustainable Manufacturing program at Columbia Sportswear, where she developed supply chain sustainability and climate programs, and oversaw social responsibility efforts for global licensees. Joleen began her career in the nonprofit sector at Social Accountability International, where she built its communications program and co-founded the Global Living Wage Coalition.
Joleen holds a Master’s in Nonprofit and Sustainability Management from The New School and a Bachelor’s in International Studies, Spanish, and Anthropology from the College of New Jersey. A published writer and editor of two award-winning short documentaries, she serves on the Board of Days for Girls International and the Advisory Board of the University of Oregon’s Sports Product Management program, where she frequently lectures. Outside of work, she enjoys time with her husband and dog, reading geopolitics, and staying active with yoga, surfing, skiing, and Muay Thai.
Lynn Stevenson is currently Vice President, FFC Operations, at Worldly overseeing the business unit with a focus on driving strategic initiatives and enhancing customer engagement. Lynn played a pivotal role in Worldly's acquisition of FFC, leveraging her expertise to successfully integrate FFC into Worldly’s operations. Previously, Lynn held the role of Vice President at adidas, reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer.
She led various functions including application engineering, support, and eCommerce during her 21-year tenure at adidas and Reebok, where she held progressively senior positions in both IT and Finance. Lynn began her career at Ernst & Young in their audit practice, earning her Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential. Her early experience provided a solid foundation in financial governance and compliance, which she has leveraged throughout her career.
