Explore the latest data now included in the Performance Data CSV for FEM
Each year, thousands of manufacturers, suppliers, and brands use Higg to share impact data with each other, making the supply chain more accurate and detailed. We know this information is critical to helping businesses accelerate their ESG goals and demonstrating impact to stakeholders. However, this abundance of data can feel overwhelming, and it can sometimes be difficult to find the most relevant information.
Fortunately, with Higg, there are several ways to export and review supply chain data so that it’s easy to understand and take action on – through the Performance Data CSV and the Assessment APIs.
How Higg Helps Brands Understand Impact Data
One of the most popular ways our users view their data is through the Performance Data CSV,which is available for the Higg Facility Environmental Module (FEM). The Performance Data CSV exports only the facility data users need most. Each column name is easily-readable, developer-friendly, and displays the unit in clear terms – for example, the total_energy_mj column shows facility energy consumption in Megajoules.
Thanks to customer feedback, we recently added more data points to the Performance Data CSV that could historically only be found in the Bulk CSV. These new data points include helpful information to help brands measure their facilities’ impact, such as wastewater, energy baselines and targets, environmental permits, as well as verification details.
Updates to the Performance Data CSV

Here’s a complete list of the changes.
More Information, Easier to Use
While the Performance Data CSV makes it easy for companies to process and act on their impact data, our APIs take performance management one step further. This connection allows users to dynamically bring information from the Performance Data CSV into their own proprietary systems. For example, the Module Data API allows users to identify facilities based on specific performance data, such as Facilities in Vietnam, or Facilities with 2021 verified FEM assessments, or Facilities with a 60+ energy score.
Using API integrations to enable the flow of Higg data into users internal systems is the most powerful way to programmatically assess and accelerate impact. To learn more about using an API, reach out to our team.
The updated Performance Data CSV is just one example of how Higg is committed to continually implementing customer feedback into our platform. See the update in action. Between these features and more, we’re constantly working to help make supply chain data actionable, helping our industry accelerate progress.
