Vice President of Responsible Sourcing & Sustainability, Target

Amanda Tucker is Vice President of Responsible Sourcing & Sustainability at Target, where she oversees the global function responsible for integrating responsible sourcing practices into Target's business operations and advancing Target’s sustainability goals.  

Prior to joining Target in 2021, Amanda held a series of progressive global leadership roles over her 20 year career at Nike, most recently serving as the Vice President of Global Sourcing. In addition to her private sector experience, Amanda has served in academia as a facilitator of LEAD, Stanford's flagship online business program; in the public sector, including working for the United Nations International Labour Organization (ILO) in Geneva, Switzerland; and in independent business advocacy, as the Director of International Labor Affairs with the U.S. Council for International Business (USCIB).

Amanda has a BA from Stanford University and graduate degrees from Stanford ‘s Graduate School of Business, the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium, and the Institute of Political Science in Paris, France. She currently serves on the Boards of Cascale and the Apparel Impact Institute.

Jimmy Summers
Chief Sustainability Officer, Elevate Textiles

Jimmy Summers is the Vice President of Environment, Health, and Safety, and Chief Sustainability Officer at Elevate Textiles, Inc., manufacturer of distinguished fabric brands and thread solutions for automotive, apparel (including denim), interior furnishing, and specialty products. He is responsible for the EHS and Sustainability programs for the company’s 40 manufacturing facilities and support facilities throughout the world. Jimmy has worked in the textile and apparel industry for over 25 years, both in manufacturing and corporate positions. Summers has significant experience in managing textile wastewater treatment systems around the world, including the design and start-up of new and upgraded systems.

He is a member of the Wastewater Council of ZDHC and is a member of the Supplier Advisory Group and several Task Teams of ZDHC. Jimmy is currently the Vice Chair of the Environmental Committee of the American Apparel & Footwear Association, and Chairman of the Standards Steering Committee of the Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute. Jimmy earned a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, and a master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from Clemson University.

With a Masters in Apparel Manufacturing, he has worked in global textile and apparel supply chains for the last twenty years, across consulting, sourcing, business analytics and steering roles. Sophie is a Principal Consultant at RESET. Based out of Hong Kong, she works with the senior management team on corporate growth strategy and develops and heads up the SBTi practice. She also takes the lead on major client projects and strategic relationships linked to SBTi internal practice development.​

Before joining RESET Carbon, Sophie was the Head of Sustainability & Sourcing at a French lingerie company, where she led the development and execution of the brand’s sustainability and sourcing strategies. Prior to this, Sophie spent a decade at the iconic American retailer, Target, transforming them into an industry leader. She spearheaded their public facing water strategy and played an instrumental role across their fabric development, supply chain and responsible sourcing teams.​ Sophie gained both her BA (Hons) in Fashion & Textiles and her PhD degree at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.​

Jeannie Renné-Malone
Vice President of Global Sustainability, VF Corporation

Jeannie oversees all aspects of VF’s sustainability strategy across its brands, operations, supply chain, materials, and products. She has extensive experience in the development and implementation of sustainability goals/strategies, stakeholder engagement, sustainability-linked finance, and tracking/reporting of sustainability/ESG results. At VF, she has led various strategic initiatives, including the development of VF’s Science-Based Targets roadmap and its Green Bond Framework, which resulted in the first green bond issuance in the apparel and footwear industry.

Under her leadership, VF has integrated circular design, sustainable materials and innovation across its portfolio of brands from farm to cradle, reducing energy, waste, carbon emissions and water usage, encouraging regenerative farming practices, circularity initiatives, and embedding renewable energy and sustainability priorities across its operations and supply chain. Jeannie has an MA in International Finance and Development from the University of Denver, a BA in Spanish from the University of Washington, and holds several sustainability credentials and certifications.

Stakeholder Engagement and Partnerships Manager, SLCP

Camille is in the Stakeholder Engagement & Policy Team at the Social & Labor Convergence Program (SLCP) and is responsible for managing stakeholder engagement & partnerships. She works with a variety of multi-stakeholder initiatives, standard holders, and civil society organizations to pursue common goals of convergence and improving working conditions worldwide. Originally from Canada, Camille has experience working as a policy analyst for the Canadian government in trade negotiations and immigration.

Marco Lucietti
Head of Global Marketing and Communications, RE&UP

Marco Lucietti has been working for over 25 years with leading Ingredient Brands of the fashion system, managing different roles at DuPont, Invista, and other companies in the sector. His core interest is the development of a comprehensive approach aimed at the creation of value through responsible innovation, a mindset in which ethics and environmental improvements are the priority at every stage of production and also post-consumer consumption.

From 2010 to 2017 he was Global Marketing Director for the premium denim manufacturer ISKO, a part of SANKO TEKSTIL and brand of SANKO Holding. He has led the company’s worldwide marketing activity with a global and highly structured output combining marketing, sales and communication strategy, including partnerships, cultural and educational projects, events and promotions, both for business-to-business and for business-to-consumer markets.

Since 2019 he has been in the position of Director of Strategic Projects, focusing on all the activities that best express the company’s approach and bring significant value to its assets. Since April 2024, he has also been Head of Global Marketing and Communications at RE&UP, the circulartech company that is reshaping the traditional textile-to-textile paradigm with Next-Gen Cotton and Next-Gen Polyester. Marco is a lecturer at multiple Universities and Master courses throughout Europe, and he is a professor of business strategy at Sapienza University in Rome.

Before joining Worldly, James co-founded Schaffer & Combs, a consultancy that served purpose-driven organizations. James has led engagements with leading sustainability organizations, including Cascale, Aii, ZDHC, BlueSign, WRI, B Lab, Rainforest Alliance, and Outdoor Industry Association, and dozens of social sector organizations.

Adele Stafford
Executive Vice President of Growth Initiatives, Worldly

As the EVP of Growth Initiatives at Worldly, Adele Stafford oversees the team responsible for customer excellence including Customer Success and Account Management.

Adele brings twenty years of experience working at the nexus of design, technology and strategy to Worldly. Prior to joining Worldly, Adele was the VP of Accounts for Blue State, a digital marketing and communications agency who partners with leading causes, companies and campaigns. Her client roster included Google, Monterey Bay Aquarium (Seafood Watch), UCSF, and Participant Media.

At Frog Design, Adele was a Director of Client Services, overseeing account growth and business strategy for key clients including Procter & Gamble, Hewlett Packard, and General Electric. She also spent time working in a marketing strategy role for organizations like the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Adele is a practicing studio artist and hand weaver whose work is deeply rooted in sustainable fiber agriculture. Over the past ten years, this work has culminated in a project called Voices of Industry, a survey of the cultural and agricultural context that informs our domestic textile supply chain.

Adele is a graduate of Rhode Island School of Design with a Bachelor of Fine Art and Simmons College with a Master of Business Administration.

Under Colin’s leadership, Cascale is poised to leverage its unifying position to develop true accountability measures and deepen its commitments, driving significant impact across the industry.

General Manager of Environmental Sustainability, MAS Holdings

Dhanujie Jayapala is the Head of Environmental Sustainability within the Sustainable Business team MAS. He has been engaged in this space for over 13 years, working primarily on energy efficiency, renewable energy, and decarbonization. Dhanujie is a graduate of the Faculty of Engineering, University of Peradeniya and holds a Masters on Sustainable Development in University of Sussex.

He is a Chartered Environmentalist accredited by Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA). Dhanujie is currently a member of Higg Product Tools Strategic Council of Cascale. In his current role at MAS, Dhanujie is focused on achieving the company’s environmental targets aligned including decarbonisation to its sustainability strategy, the MAS Plan for Change

Sustainability Environmental Manager, Fenix Outdoor

Maria Venus is Sustainability Environmental Manager at Outdoor Company Fenix Outdoor, which owns respected brands such as the Swedish Fjällräven and the German outdoor retailer Globetrotter Ausrüstung. Maria has been designing the environmental journey of Fenix Outdoor in taking ownership of various topics be it reporting, climate action initiatives as supply chain engagement since 2018. Herewith she creates not only a positive impact for the company owned brands but for the suppliers and also drives actively collaboration with industry players which is needed to be a responsible actor.

Dr. Krishna Manda
Vice President of Corporate Sustainability, Lenzing Group

Krishna Manda has worked around 20 years in sustainability with various sectors and stakeholders. He is passionate about embedding sustainability in the core business and functions to nurture culture change anchored in values. Krishna holds the role of VP Corporate Sustainability and member of the executive leadership team at the Lenzing Group, which is a world leading producer of sustainable cellulosic fibers with brand names TENCEL™, ECOVERO™ and REFIBRA™ which are used for fashion, home textile and hygiene products.

He is responsible for sustainability & ESG strategy, targets, governance, incentives and strategic engagements with stakeholders and policy makers for orchestrating systemic change in the industry. Krishna served as a co-chair of the Policy Hub during 2020 – 2022. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Cascale (formerly Sustainable Apparel Coalition (SAC)). Krishna has a Ph.D. in Sustainability from Utrecht University, the Netherlands. He worked and lived in five countries and currently lives in Austria with his wife and daughter who are a continuous inspiration.

Kevin Vranes
Chief Product Officer, Worldly

Kevin Vranes is the Chief Product Officer for Worldly. He is a highly accomplished software executive, most recently involved in launching and leading the build-out of Salesforce's Net Zero Cloud product. With a Ph.D. in Geophysics (Ocean and Climate Physics), he brings 20 years of experience in Earth, environmental science, and energy management. Kevin has also spent 20 years in technical software, from development to product management. He has held executive roles in cleantech startups and leadership positions in software product management, contributing to the high-tech, cleantech, and energy/environmental sectors.

Jeremy Lardeau
Senior Vice President of Higg Index, Cascale

Jeremy Lardeau is the Senior VP of the Higg Index at Cascale. As part of the leadership team, he oversees the strategic direction and development of the Higg Index suite of tools as well as Cascale’s impact programs. Before joining the Cascale team, Jeremy was Senior Director of Sustainability Analytics at Nike, Inc. where he led sustainability reporting, performance management, data products, and reporting. Prior to Nike, Jeremy was a manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers’ sustainability practice, successively working out of the Paris, Mexico City, and San Francisco offices. Jeremy holds a Masters in Industrial Engineering from the Ecole Centrale Paris.

Vice President of Customer Success, Worldly

As Worldly Vice President of Customer Success, Loretta oversees the team responsible for serving Worldly’s client base and ensuring those clients are fully satisfied throughout the customer journey and optimized for growth. Loretta provides valuable strategic input across client challenges and feedback. She also works closely with the Worldly Product Development team to inform product enhancements and support product releases.

Prior to Worldly, Loretta had 12 years of experience in supply chain sustainability at UL, ranging from program development, software implementation, client services and innovations.

Lynn Stevenson
Vice President of FFC Operations, Worldly

Lynn Stevenson is currently Vice President, FFC Operations, at Worldly overseeing the business unit with a focus on driving strategic initiatives and enhancing customer engagement. Lynn played a pivotal role in Worldly's acquisition of FFC, leveraging her expertise to successfully integrate FFC into Worldly’s operations. Previously, Lynn held the role of Vice President at adidas, reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer.

She led various functions including application engineering, support, and eCommerce during her 21-year tenure at adidas and Reebok, where she held progressively senior positions in both IT and Finance. Lynn began her career at Ernst & Young in their audit practice, earning her Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential. Her early experience provided a solid foundation in financial governance and compliance, which she has leveraged throughout her career.

Richard Lawson has over fifteen years of experience in the fashion and consumer goods sector, from manufacturing to retail and luxury to mass market. As Director of Sustainability and Policy, he helps businesses bridge between the complex policy landscape and the realities of their own operations and services. Previously, at Zalando, he led their product sustainability strategy and delivered sustainability compliance capabilities. His experience gives him a broad understanding of how sustainability provides both business opportunities and challenges in sectors with economic headwinds and a regulated future.

John Armstrong is the CTO at Worldly, where he builds the enterprise platform that enables consumer goods businesses — at every stage in their sustainability journey — to accurately measure a company or product’s sustainability performance.

John has worked with some of the world’s leading companies, building meaningful products, services, and experiences to meet their unique needs. He relies on a common-sense approach to software design and construction. Through his leadership, Worldly is using agile technology to help create global change.

J.R. Siegel is Vice President, Sustainability at Worldly. He is a sustainability strategist, writer, and business leader whose work focuses on helping companies understand, measure, and take action on their biggest climate risks and opportunities. J.R. is a proud graduate of Yale University and The Fletcher School at Tufts University. He lives in Seattle with his wife, three children, and a very odd dog. He writes Bright Spots, a sustainability newsletter, in his free time.
