ASOS’ commitment to sustainability

 

As part of ASOS’ ongoing commitment to sustainability, it is a requirement for their supply chain partners to complete Higg FEM 2022.

 

ASOS has teamed up with Worldly to provide the highest level of support to their facility partners as they complete their assessment. Worldly will be sending email communications throughout the reporting period to each facility. These  communications will provide resources and guidance on next steps to ensure facilities are getting the support they need to meet ASOS completion requirements on time.

 

As a member of the Sustainable Apparel Coalition, ASOS works with the apparel, footwear and textile industry’s leading companies and organizations to adopt the Higg Index, a suite of self-assessment sustainability tools that measure social and environmental impacts in the supply chain and in our products in a standardized way.  The Higg Index identifies areas for improvement and helps ASOS move the industry forward, together.

When completing FEM 2022 please also note the following from ASOS:

 

All suppliers and subcontractors must ensure facilities named (Tier 1-4) in the Worldly communication complete the self-assessment.

 

All facilities must complete the following sections as a minimum:

 

  • Site Info & Permit (completed in full)
  • Energy and Water sections completed to Level 3
  • EMS and Waste sections completed to Level 2

Frequently Asked Questions

Question 1: Which Facility Plan should I purchase to meet the requirements? PlusMinus

Answer: You should receive a tailored communication from both ASOS and Worldly notifying you about which plan to purchase. But you can access information about each plan’s contents here.

Question 2: If I already have a Higg account, do I need to register a new Worldly account? PlusMinus

Answer: No, there is no need to create a new account. Your existing Higg account (Higg ID & login) is still valid and can be used to access the newly branded Worldly portal. As long as you still have an active subscription to Higg Index tools, you will be able to access those tools on Worldly.

Question 3: How do I register a new account? PlusMinus

Answer: First-time Higg users should start here to learn how to create an account on worldly.io.

Question 4: I haven’t completed my 2022 FEM yet, do I need to buy anything new? PlusMinus

Answer: If you have already purchased your 2022 FEM, your assessment will be available in the Worldly platform. You will only need to buy a new subscription next year for 2023 assessments.

If you have not yet purchased your 2022 FEM you can do so under one of our new packages, which you can explore on the platform.

Question 5: How do I share my 2022 modules with ASOS? PlusMinus

Answer: Accept the module share requests sent by ASOS.

If you do not see a pending share request from ASOS in your modules page, under Share Requests, you should click the Share Module button and initiate the module share with ASOS.
