Calculate Eco-Scores at scale and publish your labels now, before third parties do it for you.

Third parties selling your products will soon be able to publish French Eco-Scores on your behalf. Without access to your own product-level data, these scores may be inaccurate and cause harm to your brand. The Worldly Product Impact Calculator lets you generate scores and labels at scale, using the same dataset that powers your Scope 3 reporting.
Worldly’s Product Impact Calculator connects to Ecobalyse and allows you to produce scores and labels across thousands of products using the same dataset you rely on for Scope 3 emissions and decarbonization decisions.
Eco-Score labeling is entering a voluntary period before it becomes mandatory. Brands that act now can ensure accuracy, avoid rushed compliance, and prevent third parties from publishing incomplete or misleading scores.
“Companies should prioritize building reliable product and supply chain data systems now, as regulatory methodologies and datasets continue to evolve.”
The French Eco-Score — now officially renamed Environmental Cost (“Coût Environnemental”) — is a mandatory environmental impact label required for clothing and textile products sold in France, established under the Climate and Resilience Law. Starting in October 2026, third parties selling a brand’s products in France will be able to calculate and publish Eco-Scores on that brand’s behalf without prior approval, making early voluntary compliance the only way brands retain control over their published scores.
If a brand has not published its own French Eco-Scores to the public declaration portal before the mandatory compliance period begins in October 2026, third parties — including distributors and retailers selling the brand’s products in France — will be able to calculate and publish scores independently. Scores calculated without access to a brand’s primary product data may be inaccurate, and inaccurate scores that reach the market are difficult to correct and can cause reputational harm.
Worldly Product Impact Calculator connects directly to Ecobalyse — the French government’s official calculation tool — allowing brands to generate French Eco-Scores and compliant labels across thousands of products using the same dataset they already rely on for Scope 3 emissions reporting and decarbonization planning. This means brands can produce Eco-Scores without building a separate data collection process, using product category, materials, composition, weight, and manufacturing geography already captured in the platform.
The Worldly Product Impact Calculator covers multiple product categories relevant to French Eco-Score compliance, including apparel, textiles, and furniture. As of March 2026, products have already been uploaded to the French declaration portal through the platform, and the calculator supports bulk import to generate scores across large product catalogs efficiently.
French Eco-Score calculations and Scope 3 emissions reporting draw on much of the same underlying product and supply chain data — including product category, materials composition, weight, and manufacturing geography. Worldly’s Product Impact Calculator is designed so that brands already collecting primary supply chain data for Scope 3 reporting can generate French Eco-Scores from that same dataset, avoiding duplicated data collection and ensuring consistency between the two outputs.
