Article key points:
- Open Supply Hub has launched OS Hub Spotlight, a new data layer on facility profiles that features environmental, social, and assessment data from 10 partners — including Worldly.
- Through this integration, users can now see whether Higg Facility Environmental Module (Higg FEM) assessment data is available for a given production facility, along with verification status, completion date, and reporting year.
- Brands and their sourcing teams gain a faster path to the facility-level environmental data needed to support compliance, risk management, and supplier engagement.
- Worldly’s participation reflects its broader commitment to open, interoperable supply chain data infrastructure that moves the entire industry forward.
The challenge of finding facility-level supply chain data
Sourcing and compliance teams routinely work across dozens of disconnected data sources including assessments, audits, certifications, and more—with no reliable way to know what data exists for a given facility before they specifically hunt for it. This adds friction to the process, leading to duplicate efforts and slower decisions.
Open Supply Hub announces a new solution
Open Supply Hub (OS Hub) is offering a platform to collectively solve this longstanding problem with the launch of OS Hub Spotlight. The new offering, powered by integrated data from 10 founding partners, connects siloed datasets to production facility profiles.
OS Hub Spotlight won’t host or replace its partners’ datasets. Instead, it connects users to the data sources they need, when they need it. OS Hub Spotlight users can see what data partner information exists for a given facility, and where to access it—a huge improvement from the way sustainability and sourcing teams previously had to search for data.
What is Open Supply Hub?
Open Supply Hub is a global open data platform that maps production locations and connects them with various datasets, helping organizations better understand and address risks and opportunities across their supply chains. To date, Open Supply Hub has mapped over 2.5 million production locations from thousands of organizations, including a range of stakeholders such as suppliers, companies, service providers and civil society organizations.
What the launch of OS Hub Spotlight means for OS Hub users
Through OS Hub Spotlight, production location profiles on the Open Supply Hub platform now highlight where specific data points are available from partner organizations, including supply chain data and insights Worldly provides. This makes it easier for brands, civil society organizations, and other stakeholders to discover relevant information linked to production locations.
By improving visibility across datasets, Open Supply Hub helps organizations more quickly identify available information and partners that can support risk model development, compliance, and sourcing.
The data OS Hub Spotlight makes visible
OS Hub Spotlight currently highlights the availability of data from 10 founding partners, including Worldly, with plans to add more partners in the future.
Visitors to Open Supply Hub can see:
- Whether a facility has completed a Higg Facility Environmental Module assessment
- The facility’s assessment verification status
- The facility’s completion date
- The facility’s reporting year
OS Hub Spotlight doesn’t replace the need for environmental, social, and labor assessments. Rather, it allows brands to see which of their suppliers’ facilities have deeper supply chain data available and points them to where and how they can access that data. For brands evaluating suppliers or building compliance documentation, this can meaningfully reduce the time it takes to find the information they rely on for decision making.
Why this matters for compliance and sourcing teams
As regulatory requirements around supply chain due diligence continue to expand — including under frameworks like the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) — having credible, facility-level environmental data is increasingly a compliance prerequisite, not just a reporting nicety.
Cascale’s Higg Facility Environmental Module available on Worldly is one of the most widely adopted tools for capturing facility-level environmental performance. When that data is discoverable through an open, standardized platform like OS Hub, it becomes easier for brands to incorporate it into risk assessments, sourcing criteria, and compliance workflows, all without building custom data pipelines from scratch.
“Collaboration, transparency and interoperability are values that Worldly has openly committed to through their generous support and partnership in launching OS Hub Spotlight,” said Natalie Grillon, CEO of OS Hub. “With the inclusion of the Higg Facility Environmental Module (Higg FEM) data in Open Supply Hub, Worldly is demonstrating that siloed datasets are no longer a competitive advantage, but connecting datasets to improve access, manage risk, meet compliance, and drive more sustainable supply chains absolutely is!”
"Worldly is demonstrating that connecting datasets to improve access, manage risk, meet compliance, and drive more sustainable supply chains is a competitive advantage."
Facilities also benefit from Worldly data on OS Hub
When a facility completes the Higg Facility Environmental Module, that achievement is now visible directly on its OS Hub profile — giving it a credible, standardized signal of its commitment to supply chain performance that any brand on the platform can see. This matters because brands increasingly use assessment completion and verification status as inputs for sourcing decisions and risk prioritization, meaning facilities that invest in measurement are better positioned to attract and retain brand partnerships.
