Higg Facility Social & Labor Module (Higg FSLM) for manufacturers.

The Higg Facility Social & Labor Module (Higg FSLM), stewarded and governed by Cascale and implemented globally through the Worldly sustainability and supply chain intelligence platform, is a standardized assessment that helps manufacturing facilities document working hours, wages, health and safety, and worker rights. Facilities complete one assessment and share verified results across multiple brand customers, reducing duplicate audits while giving brands consistent, credible social and labor data.

“Worldly has genuinely made our ESG work easier to manage. We use the environmental and social facility assessments a lot, and it’s been a big help to have consistent, verified supplier data without having to build our own tracking tools, and it saves suppliers from filling out the same thing over and over.”

Sustainability Director, Odlo

"For many years we spent around 200 days each year completing brand certification requirements. If multiple brands accept the Higg FSLM we can eliminate the rest of the certifications. This gives more benefits for our manufacturing facilities, both reducing burden and audit fatigue."

Social & Labor Convergence Program (SLCP) is a multi-stakeholder initiative  committed to driving decent working conditions in global supply chains by standardizing the way social and labor data is collected and shared.

SLCP provides a common CAF (Converged Assessment Framework) to collect and verify social and labor data, and was developed to reduce audit fatigue and improve working conditions.

Formerly known as the Sustainable Apparel Coalition, Cascale owns and develops the Higg Index. It is a global, nonprofit alliance catalyzing collective action toward equitable and restorative business practices in the consumer goods industry.

The Higg FSLM is built on SLCP’s CAF framework and uses a universal scoring system to enhance social performance in manufacturing facilities globally.

Worldly is the leading platform for sustainability data and analytics in consumer goods supply chains, and the exclusive host of the Higg Index Tools.

We provide customers with the added data and technology layer that makes it easier to complete the Higg FSLM and collaborate with their supply chain.

Frequently asked questions

The Higg Facility Social & Labor Module (Higg FSLM), stewarded and governed by Cascale and implemented globally through the Worldly sustainability and supply chain intelligence platform, is a standardized assessment tool that helps manufacturing facilities document and share social and labor performance data — covering working hours, wages, health and safety, and worker rights — with multiple brand customers from a single platform.

The Higg FSLM reduces audit fatigue by allowing facilities to complete one standardized social and labor assessment and share it with multiple brand customers, rather than repeating separate assessments for each.

The Higg FSLM is used by manufacturing facilities — including Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers across apparel, footwear, furniture, and other consumer goods sectors — when their brand or retailer customers require it as part of their social compliance program. 300+ brands and retailers across 97 countries accept Worldly to collect and analyze social and labor data from their supply chains.

The Higg FSLM gives brands a consistent, traceable record of working conditions across their supply chains — including wages, hours, and health and safety data — that supports reporting under frameworks like the EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) and other regulations requiring documented evidence of social compliance.

Unlike traditional third-party social audits, which are conducted separately for each brand customer and create duplicate effort for suppliers, the Higg FSLM is a self-assessment aligned to an industry-standard methodology that facilities complete once and share across partners. This reduces supplier burden while giving brands consistent, comparable data rather than disconnected audit reports.
